Notoriety is the first, basic skill your dragon can level up, and is earned by just drawing or writing about your dragon! Levelling up Notoriety can give special rewards, as well as give access to special events and activities! Notoriety is the only skill that you, the player, have to track on your own. There’s a basic template you may copy and use for yourself, but you’re welcome to create your own as long as it has links to the artwork or writing depicting your character, and has the expected EXP amount listed clearly for each piece. Once you believe you have enough Notoriety experience to ascend to the next level, you can then submit your tracker to the official Notoriety Count where one of the lovely Admins will look it over and either update your characters level, or provide their feedback!

Pieces that are lower effort when compared to the rest of the artist's gallery.
Pieces that reuse, or recolor a previous piece.
Hunting EXP is earned through doing just that, Hunting! Everytime you submit a hunting activity, you earn a little bit of experience whether you successfully take down your prey or not! The best part is that you don’t need to worry about keeping track of how much hunting experience you have, unlike Notoriety. Whenever you earn Hunting EXP it’s automatically logged by the admin rolling your entry, and anytime you level up they’ll let you know how much you earned along with the results of your hunting entry!

Huntmates
While your characters can do hunting entries on their own, you can also do them in a bonded group called “Huntmates” for the chance of higher rewards! Not only can your character earn hunting EXP on their own, but when they complete hunting activities with their Huntmates they earn EXP as a group as well! This is known as Huntmate Synergy (HS), and the more Synergy a group of Huntmates have, the better chance for even better results! Huntmates must be officially registered first to be able to begin gaining HS however. You can read more about bonding and Huntmates in the Bonding Guide. It’s also important to note that the benefits from the Huntmate Synergy level only counts if 2 or more members of the Huntmate bond are depicted in the entry!

Fighting EXP can be earned through two different methods, in sparring matches, or through random patrol encounters! Sparring is a guaranteed way to earn some Fighting EXP, you earn some whether you win or lose, but the winner earns bonus EXP. Much like the others, with the exception of Notoriety, Fighting EXP is tracked by Admins.
It should be noted, while having a high fighting level does increase your chances of winning, it doesn’t mean you’ll always win against someone of a lower level! You could be level 10 and still have a chance to lose against someone level 1! (Albeit a very small chance.)

Magic is a fickle thing, every dragon in Koid possesses the potential to use magic, but learning how to do so is a long process that requires time, patience, and dedication. Because of this, it’s not immediately available for your dragon to use until they first earn enough Notoriety levels, and then they must fulfill certain prompts to gain the experience needed to unlock their abilities. However, once these are met it’ll open all kinds of new benefits and rewards!
After you fulfill the prompts to unlock magical abilities, then any work in which your character is depicted using their magical ability earns them Magic EXP! This includes Notoriety entries, however, they will only be added when you submit your Notoriety tracker for Official approval.
